UCD PhD Research Symposium
from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
The symposium will provide PhD students with an opportunity to present their research and to obtain feedback in a friendly and co-operative environment. It will also provide an opportunity to show-case the rich variety of research that is being undertaken by various researchers and PhD students.
It is envisaged that various streams would be organised. One such stream might be for early stage researchers who are in their first or second years and who are about to begin their fieldwork or who might have undertaken a preliminary analysis of their data or research findings. Other streams might be organised around disciplines or broad areas of business/management or finance research. Such streams might suit students who are in their third or fourth years and who are well advanced in their research.
Presentations would be for 20 minutes or so and would be followed by a question and answer session.
