eTax declarations popularity growing in Ireland

The Revenue On-Line Service (ROS) of the Irish tax authorities has been steadily transforming communication between taxpayers and the government...

In July 2003, Irish Revenue received an eGovernment label from the European Commission for this service, which was found to be one of the best practices of its type. This year, several tax officials from outside Ireland were on hand to observe proceedings and consider the possibility of copying the Irish model.
