Professor Peter Russo will talk about what can be learned from German success stories and failures. In addition, he will analyse the past and current situation of innovation and entrepreneurship in Germany. Peter will address strengths and opportunities as well as weaknesses and threats. Some outstanding examples will show current challenges and chances. This seminar will also address the role of Venture Capital in Innovation. what is the role of Venture (Risk) Capital in enabling the smart economy? what is the status of Venture Capital in Ireland? what does a Venture Capitalist look for? what are the challenges facing Irish entrepreneurs in raising capital? what are the potential solutions?
