FossTrak EPCIS (the application formally known as Accada)

FOSS: intended to foster the rapid prototyping of RFID applications and to accelerate the development of an Internet of Things.

From the fosstrak website:

"fosstrak is an open source RFID prototyping platform that implements the EPC Network specifications. It is intended to foster the rapid prototyping of RFID applications and to accelerate the development of an Internet of Things.

The fosstrak project was initiated by Christian Floerkemeier, Matthias Lampe, and Christof Roduner of the Distributed Systems Group at ETH Zurich led by Friedemann Mattern and the Auto-ID Lab at ETH Zurich/University of St. Gallen led by Elgar Fleisch .

fosstrak is an open source project and relies on the time and energy of volunteers and contributions. There are many ways of supporting the project:

  • Join the mailing list and answer other user's questions; Report bugs, feature requests and other issues in the issue tracking application.
  • Submit patches to reported issues (both those you find, or that others have filed)
  • Help with the documentation by pointing out areas that are lacking or unclear, and if you are so inclined, submitting patches to correct it.

Your participation is much appreciated!"
