Our research centres are well positioned to provide support for PhDs that have an applied inter-disciplinary orientation. Members draw heavily on their research to deliver postgraduate programmes at UCD's Smurfit Graduate School of Business and undergraduate programmes at UCD's Quinn School of Business. The Management Information Systems (MIS) group was established in 1979 as a research and teaching group within UCD's then Faculty of Commerce. Management Information Systems encompasses a cross-section of research foci and our teaching addresses a portfolio of subjects covering Information Systems (IS), Electronic Commerce / Business, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Social and Organisational aspects of IS / ICT, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Management Science and Systems Science.
