You've heard about the Raspberry Pi but haven't got your hands on one yet? You have your own Pi but haven't been able do anything with it yet? Well we have so if you want to try one out or use your own Raspberry Pi come along for a hands-on workshop at the UCD School of Business.
- Obtain a 4GB or greater SD memory card.
- Use a PC or a Mac with an SD card reader to
write
an .img file to your SD card using disk imaging software. - CAREFULLY follow the Quick start guide www.raspberrypi.org/quick-start-guide to install the SD card image on your own SD card. The community on the Raspberry Pi Wiki has also written a guide for beginners on how to set up your SD card. (elinux.org/RPi_Easy_SD_Card_Setup). Follow these instructions CAREFULLY.
