from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM
The first in our "Software@" talks for 2016 dealing with the issue of 'how we build software’. The seminars bring speakers from software groups in Ireland to talk about their history, context, practices and approaches to the design, management and organisation of software development in their company. We cover topics like software methodology, technology stack, issue tracking, software architecture and design, deployment, code reviews, testing, etc.
The talks should be of interest to anyone who wants to find out more about current practice in software management and development.
Our speakers is Đinh Đoàn Văn Biển (Senior Engineer). He will be talking about software development at Microsoft. Microsoft Ireland transformed over the years from a localisation and box shifting operation to be the first of Microsoft's international bases trusted with product development and engineering.
Space is limited, so please email Allen Higgins or Mel Ó Cinnéide if you’re planning to attend.
- Mel Ó Cinnéide, School of Computer Science and Informatics, UCD.

These are not company presentations as such, but the companies presenting are very keen to hear from students who are interested in a career with them.
