September 2009: MIS & School of Business Becomes R&D Partner with SAP

We have just become the first University based in Dublin to become an active research and development partner in SAP’s “University Alliance Programme” allowing us to integrate their business applications to both our under and postgraduate programmes in Quinn and Smurfit. Further details from Matt Glowatz

"SAP is very happy to be able to announce its partnership with University College Dublin. SAP has a long history in Ireland with a major investment in its Service and Support Centre with over 900 consultants providing support across EMEA and the US. We believe it is vital to work with good Irish universities as a means of securing our own growth and a source of highly intelligent, flexible, lucid and ambitious graduates and so we are delighted to be able to work so closely with UCD. UCD is without doubt one of the leading educational institutions in Ireland and in Europe and we have great hopes for the future of the collaboration with its top-class faculty and students."
